Grand Reception celebrating the art of Haitian Artist Philippe Dodard 

 

(Coral Gables, Fl.) April 20, 2007-Greater Miami Investments, GMI and Sun American Bank invite the public to a grand reception celebrating the art of Haitian artist Philippe Dodard scheduled for Friday, May 4th. From 6-9 PM at Greater Miami Investments, GMI, 60 Aragon Avenue, Coral Gables. This timely event coincides with Haitian Heritage month and is being sponsored by the City of Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce and Bacardi. Montica Jewelry will contribute with a raffle for the event. Haitian music featuring Jan Sebon and Caribbean soul food will be part of the festivity.
 
This is the culminating event to an exhibition of small and medium format paintings that were specifically created in Haiti for this show. The artworks are representative of the evolution of a stellar artist and internationally acclaimed figure in the world of art. This painter, sculptor, designer, illustrator, and visionary has been at the vanguard of the Haitian art scene since 1971. Philippe Dodard has exhibited widely in Haiti, Surinam, Brazil, France, Italy, Venezuela, Finland, U.S.A, Central America, and Germany.

This spontaneous yet exquisite collection was organized in conjunction with Galerie Marassa in Haiti.

Haitian Artist Philippe Dodard exhibits new works in Coral Gables  

 

(Coral Gables, Fl.) February 19, 2007—New works by renowned Haitian artist Philippe Dodard will be on view commencing Friday, March 2nd at Greater Miami Investments, Inc., GMI, Coral Gables.  This collection of small and medium format paintings and drawings were specifically created in Haiti for this exhibition that culminates in Coral Gables on Friday, May 4. The artworks are representative of the evolution of a stellar artist and internationally acclaimed figure in the world of art. This painter, sculptor, designer, illustrator, and visionary has been at the vanguard of the Haitian art scene since 1971. Philippe Dodard has exhibited widely in Haiti, Surinam, Brazil, France, Italy, Venezuela, Finland, U.S.A, Central America, and Germany.

The grand reception for this exhibition coincides with Haitian Heritage month and is scheduled for Friday, May 4th. From 6-8 PM at GMI.

Artista Haitiano Philippe Dodard  presenta sus nuevas obras en Coral Gables

 

(Coral Gables, Fl.) 19 de February de  2007-Empezando el 2 de Marzo se presentan nuevas obras del pintor Haitiano Philippe Dodard, en Greater Miami Investments, Inc. GMI, Coral Gables. Este conjunto de piezas de pequeño y mediano formato fueron especificamente hechas en Haiti para esta exposición que culmina en Coral Gables el 4 de Mayo. Los trabajos son representativos de la evolucion de un gran artista aclamado internacionalmente por los amantes de el arte. Este pintor, escultor, diseñador, ilustrador, y visionario ha cruzado las fronteras de la cultura Caribeña. Dodard ha logrado llevar su obra de arte desde Haiti a Surinam, Brasil, Francia, Italia, Venezuela, Finlandia, Estados Unidos, Centro America, y Alemania. Su legado trascende el lenguaje de el arte y se manifiesta en trabajos contemporáneos con el propuesto de conservar la cultura Haitiana.

Esta exquisita y espontánea colección  compuesta por dibujos y oleos en tela se exponen hasta el 4 de Mayo en Coral Gables. Dodard viajara a Miami el 25 de Febrero y se presentara en GMI el Viernes 2 de Marzo para una apertura de prensa y invitados especiales de 6 a 8 de la noche. La recepción publica se festejara el Viernes, 4 de Mayo a la misma hora en Greater Miami Investments, Inc., GMI, 60 Aragon Avenue, Coral Gables, Fl. 33134.
